The Local PRISAA event in South Cotabato was a great success, showcasing a wide range of talents from various private schools in the region. The successful kick-off at the South Cotabato Sports Complex, themed around grassroots sports development, highlights the importance of nurturing athletic skills at the community level.
The participation of schools like NDMU, RMMC-MI, STI College, Green Valley Foundation, Inc., SEAIT, and St. Alexius College demonstrates the collective effort in promoting sports and other talents among students. It’s impressive to hear about the diverse skills displayed, not just in sports but also in arts like singing and public speaking.
The achievements in the singing competitions, with STI College of Marbel winning the Vocal Solo, Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Colleges in the Vocal Duet, and Notre Dame of Marbel University in the Choral Competition, are particularly commendable. These victories are a testament to the dedication and hard work of the students and their mentors.
It’s also heartening to hear about the Alexian students showcasing the “Alexian difference.” Such events are not just about winning but also about participating, learning, and growing as individuals and teams.
Congratulations to Dr. John Thomas C. Franco for spearheading this event and to all the students who participated, especially those who achieved championship titles. Their efforts in showcasing their talents and skills are indeed praiseworthy. Such events play a crucial role in fostering a sense of community and camaraderie among students, as well as in honing their abilities for future endeavors.
