In an electrifying display of skill and competition, the HNU Activity Center was the venue for yesterday’s Badminton PRISAA 2024 tournament, bringing together top athletes from private schools across the region. With intense matches that kept spectators on the edge of their seats, champions were crowned in both the Men’s and Women’s categories, earning their spots for the upcoming regional PRISAA competitions.
In the Men’s Category, Rian Binlod fought valiantly to secure the 1st Runner-Up position in the Singles event, while the dynamic duo of Deo Briones and Jethro Alaban clinched the Champions title in Doubles, showcasing teamwork and determination.
The Women’s Category saw Christel Jesette Sandoval triumph as the Champion in Single A, with Monica Balili mirroring this achievement in Single B. The Doubles team of Ericka Sumatra and Michelle Jen Catoto displayed exceptional talent, earning them the 1st Runner-Up spot.
PRISAA, renowned for its commitment to elevating private school athletics in the Philippines, once again proved to be a platform for high-caliber sportsmanship and talent.
