ORGANIZATIONAL STRUCTURE
The Private Schools Athletic Association (PRISAA), a non-stock, non-profit sports foundation, has as its supreme governing body the General Membership which is vested with all the powers expressly provided by law and the by-laws of the Association.
The General Membership composed of the duly accredited PRISAA member-schools in the seventeen (17) regions of the country elects and appoints their respective officers in the Provincial/City or Regional Level as the case may be following the electoral process of the Association.
The Provincial/City Chapter composed of the Presidents of duly accredited PRISAA member-schools in the province/city elects the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Auditor, appoints the Public Relations Officer, Marketing/Promotions Officer and Provincial/ City Executive Director, and organizes a Secretariat in the Provincial/City Level.
The Regional Association composed of the duly elected Provincial/ City Chapter Presidents elects from among them the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Auditor, appoints the Public Relations Officer, Marketing/Promotions Officer and Regional Executive Director, and organizes a Secretariat in the Regional Level.
The National Association composed of the duly elected Regional Presidents elects from among them the President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer and Auditor, and appoints the Public Relations Officer, Marketing/Promotions Officer, National Executive Director and Secretary General in the National Level.
The National President position, however, is reserved for the President of the Host Region and shall assume office upon acceptance of the award for the hosting of the Annual PRISAA National Collegiate Games. The National President acts also as the Vice Chairman of the Board.
The National Board composed of the duly elected National Officers and Regional Presidents serves as the policy making body of the Association, exercises general supervision and control over the affairs of the Association, and elects the National Chairman who has the integrity, character, capacity, connection, time and willingness to serve the Association.
The National Chairman and other appointive officers in the national, regional and provincial/city levels need not come from the Presidents of PRISAA member-schools.
The National Secretariat is organized to function as the National Office of the Association. The National Office serves as the center of information and communication of PRISAA, and the repository of all data, information, records and documents of the Association.
The National Organizing Committee (NOC) composed of the Vice- Chairman/President, Public Relations Officer, Marketing Officer, National Executive Director and Secretary General is organized to oversee the successful management and conduct of the Annual PRISAA National Collegiate Games. The NOC appoints the Project Director, preferably coming from the Host Region, who is responsible for the formation and mobilization of Annual PRISAA National Collegiate Games Working Committees.
The PRISAA National Collegiate Games Working Committees are grouped into Administrative and Technical Working Committees. The Administrative and Technical Working Committees are under the direct management, supervision and control of the Project Director and National Executive Director, respectively. The Project Director and National Executive Director oversee the administrative and technical operations of the National Collegiate Games, respectively.
