I. COMPETITION

1. Events 

The Sepaktakraw Competition will be contested in team event only

2. Competition Schedule 

Announce after draw lots during the solidarity meeting scheduled by the PRISAA National Organizing Committee

II. GENERAL RULES AND REGULATIONS

1. RULES

The Sepaktakraw competition will be conducted in accordance with the rules of The International Sepaktakraw Federation (ISTAF) and the Asian Sepaktakraw Federation (ASTAF). Any unforeseen incidence not covered by the rules will be dealt in accordance with the existing ISTAF and ASTAF rules.

2. ELIGIBILITY

To be eligible for participation, a competitor must comply with the PRISAA and PASTA requirements, and the following:

a. The technical officials (referees, linesmen, etc.) will be appointed by the Philippine Amateur Sepaktakraw Association (PASTA) in conjunction with the technical committee chairman of PRISAA.

b. The jury of appeals shall be the Tournament Director, Chief Referee and the PRISAA COMMITTEE.

c. In the event of protest and disputes PRISAA and PASTA technical guidelines will be fully implemented.

III. NUMBER OF ENTRIES

There shall be one entry per region, provided all the entries were properly registered and screened by the PRISAA Screening Committee held one (1) day before the competition. The time and venue will be announced on a later basis.

a.    Drawing of lots will be done during the team managers solidarity meeting
b.  There will be SCHEDULING AND RE-SCHEDULEING OF GAMES UPON THE                  DISCRETION OF THE COMMITTEE.
c.    Coaches who have not attended the solidarity meeting or conference will not be entertained regarding questions on technicalities before, during or after the match.
d.    Coaches must be in proper dress code.

IV. COMPETITION RULES 

a.    The Philippine Amateur Sepaktakraw Association (PASTA) and Sepaktakraw Referees Association of the Philippines (STRAP) is responsible and has full control of the technical organization of the competition in consultation with the PRISAA Organizing Committee.

V. SYSTEM OF COMPETITION 

a.    All events will be played in a single round robin. The team who garnered the most number of wins will be declared as champion.

b.    In case there area more than 6 teams, they will be divided into 2 groups and play the single round robin with cross-over matches. In the vent there are more than 16 teams, they will be divided into 4 groups and play a single round robin e.g Group A vs Group C and Group B vs Group D.

c.    The vent shall be played in 3 sets. In case each regu wins a set, tie breaker set will be played.

d.    It is required that a team should bring two sets of uniforms during the game and an ARMBAND as stipulated in the rules of the game for Sepaktakraw.

e.    Competition uniform should be numbered in accordance with the rules of the game for Sepaktakraw.

f.    A team is required to report to the playing are 30 minutes before their actual game. Failure to do so, the official referee at his discretion may disqualify or default a team.

g.    Each team must be prepared to play more than once in a day.

h.    Rule on succession will be followed.

i.    In cases of tie, the following will be done:

– Double Tie – win over the other
– Triple to or more

o    The regu difference of the match player

o    The set difference of the match played

o    Point difference obtained by the point against and points for

o    Walk over sets or points won is not counted – Toss of coin if the four alternatives give the same results.

VI. PRIZES AND RECOMMENDATIONS

a. Victory ceremonies will be held right after the competition. Participating teams should wear their uniform.
b. Prizes

–    1st Place – Gold Medals to the members of the team
–    2nd Place – Silver Medals to the members of the team
–    3rd Place – Bronze Medals to the members of the team
